LAX and In N Out

Mike and I have a little tradition about going to In N Out by the LAX airport whenever I drop him off to visit the Midwest .... He left for Ohio on Thursday afternoon for a Father's Day fishing trip with his dad and brother-in-law, and of course we stopped at In N Out! 

If you ever come to LA to visit you must find a In N Out and stop and get a burger :)

Mike and I agree that the fries are just "ok", I have had much better fries elsewhere ... BUT the burgers are GREAT!! 

I can't wait till Monday afternoon when I am driving back to LAX to pick Mike up <3

Sunday Errands Day

Sunday is our errands day. We live in beautiful Malibu, but there is not much shopping to be done around us. We have to drive "over the hill" to the valley for our major shopping, so we try and only go once a week since it is about a 30 min trip over the hill and then another 10 min down the freeway. 

Today we started out at the Malibu Farmer's Market ... they have one every Sunday and we did end up getting quite a few of our fruits and vegetables there!

(ok actually we started at Starbucks :) Venti  Chai Tea Latte no water no foam ... YUM!

Vivianrose came with us to the farmers market, she is wearing a cute dress by Little Blue Boo

We bought beets and carrots here

and brussel sprouts here ... so good with garlic, lemon and butter :)

Then we stopped at Target for shampoo etc ..... you never know what you might need when you walk into Target!

Then off to Whole Foods, we buy dried seaweed, fruit bars, crackers etc from here ... we also always stop by the smoothie car ... I order a Blue Hawaii (bananas, blueberries and pineapple juice)

Our last stop is always Costco ... no picture the parking lot was so crowded today! 

We pick up bread, nuts, paper products etc here ....

Then we haul everything back "over the hill" to our house and relax for the remainder of Sunday :)

Closing Ceremonies for Little League

Vivianrose had the closing ceremonies tonight for her Little League season ...

She had a great time playing baseball with the boys! We asked her at the beginning of the season if she wanted to play baseball or softball and she chose baseball. She was the only girl on her team, there were only 5 girls on all the little league baseball minors teams. Vivianrose worked very hard this season on her hitting and throwing the ball. Her coaches were so proud of her! They nominated her for a special award that she received tonight. She got the award because she was a team-player, always tried her best, never complained, cheered on her teammates and was genuinely happy to play!

 Mike and I were so proud of her! 

She is already looking forward to next years baseball season.
